Construction Industry Blueprint for Suicide Prevention:
(U.S. Resource)

In the construction industry, suicide prevention and mental health promotion is the new frontier for safety. In order for suicide prevention to be successful, a comprehensive and sustained approach is needed. In the Construction Industry Blueprint for Suicide Prevention, several resources are listed.

Man Therapy

Using humor to engage men in mental health: www.ManTherapy.org

This digital campaign reaches men who are often missed by traditional mental health messages. A fake therapist – Dr. Rich Mahogany – is manning up mental health and encouraging men to take his 20-point head-inspection. This screening tool gives men feedback on their levels of depression, anxiety, substance misuse and anger and directs them to appropriate resources.

Working Minds trains organizations to pro-actively address the early warning signs of suicide in the workplace.
